Empowering small business development in Appalachian Kentucky
Invest 606, a strategic initiative of the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, is dedicated to supporting small business development in Appalachian Kentucky by addressing the significant barriers to accessing capital that many entrepreneurs in the region face. With an unmet capital demand of $70 billion in the region, Invest 606 aims to bridge this gap and empower local entrepreneurs, fostering economic growth and innovation.
Since its establishment in 2019, Invest 606 has made a meaningful difference by investing in entrepreneurs and businesses that are often overlooked by traditional funding sources. Through its ongoing efforts, Invest 606 continues to play an essential role in transforming the region's economic future, one small business at a time.
